Congratulations to the flower ring winner, Jen Greenman!
April is a time of rejuvenation, and so it is here at the studio. Renewing friendships, designing new collections and the feeling of hope that washes over us with the fresh scent of thawing gardens and budding trees. Our participation at the One of a Kind Show allowed me to introduce my new “Blushing Hearts” line, which was very well received by patrons on the hunt for unique and fun creations. The full collection will be launched here in the coming weeks, so be sure to keep an eye out (and a finger available;) Speaking of things kept close to the heart, I was delighted to rejoin the exhibitor family, as well as reconnect with treasured clients. It’s an amazing feeling to see my work given life by the wearer, and hear the story the piece represents. To top it all off, I even earned first place in the OOAK Bunny Rabbit theme contest. Jewellery lovers were seemingly out in abundance! Hundreds of them stopped by to peek in my cases, with more than 300 entering in a draw for the coveted flower ring. Jen Greenman was the lucky girl to have her name pulled from the vase, but really all those who entered are winners as they now have a spot on my exclusive invitational list and it just so happens, we have such an event taking place. Right here at our studio May 8th through 11th will be our Spring Open House so be sure to save the date.
Plus…I am thrilled to be a part of an exhibition at Harbourfront Centre opening on April 19. Family Album will display jewellery and metal work from various alumni of the Centre’s Artist-in-Residency Programme in conjunction with the SNAG conference and Toronto International Jewellery Festival, a monumental occasion with plenty of exciting events and shows to take in, so check out the site for more details! And lastly, if you are lucky enough to be celebrating a birthday this month (like me) remind everyone that April’s birthstone is Canadian Diamond!
